RND undertook a complete reimagining of the Upper East Side pied-à-terre, reorienting the kitchen to open onto the living space, renovating the bathrooms, and implementing a custom color palette throughout. The design evokes playful elegance, with modern furniture blending with elements of industrial design, like oversized nut-and-bolt shelving, and bathrooms splashed with glass tile mosaics and custom vanities. The polished wood and speckled granite surfaces work with the cobalt blue and cadmium orange tones of the color palette to create a naturally warm ambient light.
