Set in a loft space typical of the area, the hair salon in Chelsea needed a feeling of open, light-filled luxury. RND reoriented the floor plan to create a long light-filled center space opening out onto tall, industrial windows. Using partial-height walls to give an impression of a larger space, a blend of glamour and natural elegance was added with a golden chandelier flanked by two wood-panel tracks of directional spot lighting. The Brazilian mahogany of the furniture, workspaces and mirror frames lends the salon a soothing, warm and subtle tone.
